Before and After School Program
Program Policies and Fees
Registration prior to attendance is required for all students attending the Before and After School Program. The program provides homework help, other academic activities, and games for students. The program is for your convenience as well as your student's safety. Enrollment and emergency contact forms must be completed and returned to the office along with the registration fee of $30.00 per family prior to attendance. Parents are encouraged to register their children for the program in case of emergencies.
The Before School Program is mandatory for all students who come to school prior to 7:00 a.m. Morning supervision is provided. The program opens at 6:30 a.m. and students remain in the cafeteria with the person in charge until regular school supervision begins at 7:30 a.m. Students have the option to eat breakfast during before school care. Breakfast charges coincide with your student's lunch status. There is no charge for this program aside from the $30.00 registration fee per family.
The After School Program begins at 3:15 p.m. and ends promptly at 6:00 p.m. There is a $50.00 per week charge for any students registered into the After School Program.
A student, who attends other after school activities such as scouts, after school tutoring, or choir must be picked up promptly at dismissal from that activity. Those students who remain beyond the appointed dismissal time will be required to attend the After School Program, and will be charged a daily fee of $10.00.
There is no after school care on early dismissal days and school holidays. (Check your calendar.)
Billing is done on a weekly basis. There is no statement sent home. Payment is due on Monday of each week and is considered late on Wednesday. Payments received on Wednesday have a late fee of $2.00 attached to your student's balance. Students with delinquent accounts over 30 days past due, will not be allowed to attend these programs until payment is made to bring the account to a current status.
