Rev. Dr.Ulmer Marshall
Rev. Marshall was united in holy matrimony on June 16, 1973 to Gwendolyn I. Lavalais. They are the proud parents of one son, Jermaine Lavalais Marshall, born on November 25, 1979.

Rev. Marshall has been very active in the affairs of the Southern District, Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and community, and encouraging many in the church to serve in mission ministries for the past thirty-six years. He has served in various capacities: Second Vice President of the Southern District, District Board of Directors, Evangelism Board, President of the Southern District Pastoral Conference, Pastoral Counselor of the Gulf State L.W.M.L., President of Black Mission Task Force of the Southern District, President of the Southern District Black Churches Conference, Recruitment Committee–L.C M.S., Commission of Worship – L.C.M.S., Board of Directors– L.C.M.S., and Vice-President of the Board of Regents of Concordia College, Selma, Alabama, and many committees of our church body, Board for Black Ministry Service – L.C.M.S., Board of Regents for Concordia Theological Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri.
In the course of his work, Rev. Marshall has received numerous awards and has been recognized for his leadership role in promotion of several community organizations. He has served as President and Executive Board Member of many organizations, including the Mobile Mental Health Association, the Mobile Chapter of United Way, Contact Mobile, Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce, Sickle Cell Disease Association of America – Mobile Chapter, Home of Grace, and Volunteer Chaplain for Mobile Area Hospitals.
Rev. Ulmer Marshall, Jr. is truly a man approved by God, whose ultimate goal is to be used by God that He may receive the glory. “To God be the glory for all the wonderful things He has done in the life of Pastor & Mrs. Marshall.”
